Amitabh Bachchan diverts Rs 1 crore from Abhishek welfare fund to PM relief fund

Coronavirus is spreading faster than anyone would have expected. And to prevent it from further spreading, Govt had announced 21 days nationwide lockdown, bringing the economy to a halt. Although Govt has announced a financial package of Rs 1.7 Lakh crore, no money is sufficient enough to fight this virus. Hence, PM Modi on Saturday urged people to donate as per their capability.

Many actors come forward and donate a considerable amount to the PM relief fund. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar donated a whopping sum of Rs 25 crore to PMNRF, leaving many other Bollywood celebrities in an awkward situation. Many south Indian actors Prabhas, Ram Charan etc have also donated significant amounts.

After this, the Bachchans have come under pressure because they haven’t donated yet and their fans are constantly urging them to donate so that it doesn’t impact their popularity. After this pressure, Amitabh Bachchan decided to divert Rs 1 crore from Abhishek welfare fund to PM Relief fund.

As the renowned actor has become older now, due to which he had to do cost-cutting and the first thing he did was to cut Abhishek and Aishwarya’s pocket money. According to resources, Salman Khan is also planning to extract money from Arbaz’s FD and donate it to fight coronavirus.
